Tuesday Nov. 6 is the New moon, and it is happening in Libra. This phase of the moon speaks to unformed potential and plants the seed for what you would like to create and receive during the full moon of the same sign (in this case, Libra.)
During any new moon, it is especially important to take a break, moment, a “timeout” and deeply visualize what you want your life to look like, and how you want to experience it in a real life moment.
With the new moon in Libra, focus this intent towards your relationships as well as finding inner equilibrium and external balance between the many facets of your life.
It is interesting to note, that for this new moon’s completion phase, there are 2 months with a full moon in Libra. In March of 2019, the moon will go into is ‘exact’ full moon phase just moments after moving into Libra. In April the moon will go into it’s ‘exact’ full moon phase while the moon in in Libra and just hours before it moves into Scorpio. What this means is you will likely see the manifestation and receiving of these seeds for over a longer span than normally experienced. It will start with the balancing of dreams and reality and what you choose to as it comes from potential into reality. That will in turn be followed by the things within your shadow that are rising up into the light.
As with any new moon, the next few days is simply a time to be keenly aware of where your current focus is regarding relationships and the various elements of your life, and how you want them to come into balance, and to recognize there is no such thing as perfect balance as life is continually changing. There is only an opportunity for a conscious, persistent balancing of the scales.
“The moon is a loyal companion. It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human. Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections.” – Tahereh Mafi
